Cosas Por Hacer:

  1. Walk very early at 6 am, to climb the peak and have the most beautiful view of the island. It is recommended to go up early first because of the heat and second to be the first to get to the top and be able to take incredible photos. Also if you have energy you can stop at the meditation stone where you can see the other side of the island and the airport.
  2. Go at 4-5 pm to buy coconut bread from Sur Oeste (freshly made) and eat it like that! With coke.
  3. Go eat Corn ice cream, typical of the region.
  4. You cross the Lovers' Bridge to reach Santa Catalina and walk towards Warwick Fort, which is where Morgan the pirate controlled every ship that arrived at the island and protected the island from there, you can still see his cannons. It is a one km island where only pedestrians and bicycles travel, it is not motorized. You can then go down to Santa Catalina beach and enter Morgan's cave in Santa Catalina.
  5. Diving is a must, it is the third largest barrier in the world, it is called sunflower (biosphere reserve).
  6. Go to horse racing on Saturdays on the southwest beach.
  7. Go to Roland's bar on Manzanillo beach at night, there is bonfire and local people dancing reggae VERY AWESOME.
    There are 4 main beaches to visit, the longest is the southwest with 1 km of beach.
  8. You can go see the sunset at Almond Bay, a small but very beautiful beach.
    Rent a kayak in Deep Blue to cross to Crab Cay to spend the day, or you can go by boat, the view of Crab Cay is the most beautiful and it is where you can see the sea of ​​7 colors.
